OSHA will be implementing a federal standard that requires all crane operators to be certified, and that they are to be trained and certified through an accredited organization.

Nationwide Crane Training is one of the nation's best crane training companies, and helps candidates prepare for the exams and certification for the NCCCO.

The certification is good for 5 years. After 5 years you are required to retake the written tests, which is half of the initial tests.

Exam scores are received by the candidate approximately 12 business days after the exam administration (written) and 12 business days after exam score sheets are received by IAI (practical).

CCO Certification cards are mailed with the final scores.

Where can I take the exam?

Depending on home many need to be certified, we can either do it your facility, a local hotel, or another crane company.

Where can I take the practical exam? Your webite indicated you will come to us. Does that mean he can take the test in our yard?

Yes, we can test on your equipment in your yard. It makes it easier on your operators.

What would the cost be for the written and practical exams?

This depends on how many people are being tested. Now here is the good news too....if you have other crane companies that you deal with, and they need operators certified, they can come to your class, and you will receive $100 per person reduced from your invoice. We give group rates.
